The Orthopedische Vereniging van Operatie-assistenten (Association of Orthopedic Theatre Nurses) Netherlands consists of people who want to be active within the association and who take interest in the new developments within their métier. The association acts independently towards companies, hospitals and unions. Important drives for the members of the OVO are enthusiasm and dedication. Improvement of skills is one of the main objectives of the association.

ˇ An annual congress. The congress starts with a yearly membership meeting. Followed by several speakers who will shed their light on the item of this-year-congress.
ˇ Co-operation with the NOV (the Dutch Association of Orthopedic Surgeons) in providing information and assistance. The share an interest in the OVO as they too are aware of the importance of skilled employees.
